As incredulous as it sounds, the Pelicans aren't interested in neither Omer Asik:
Yet while the New Orleans Pelicans (i.e. forward Ryan Anderson) and Milwaukee Bucks (i.e. forward Ersan Ilyasova) have also been tied to the Asik situation, two people with knowledge of both team's dealings said they are no longer in the mix. The people spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the private nature of the talks. Things could change, of course, but it appears both teams have bowed out for now.
nor Zach Randolph:
Speaking of Anderson, there were strong denials on all sides to a Bleacher Report article indicating a trade was in the works that could — at some point before the deadline — send Anderson to the Memphis Grizzlies for forward Zach Randolph. A person with knowledge of the Grizzlies' dealings said they haven't had any conversations with New Orleans about a Randolph-for-Anderson swap, and a person with knowledge of the Pelicans' dealings said the same.
Hehe, I believe most Pellie fans had already deduced the importance of not dealing Ryan Anderson, but it's good to hear mainstream is finally catching on. Now go away all you trolls. As we've said here before, you can't have him. :)
