Preseason Game 3: Pelicans at Magic

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The Pelicans head to Jacksonville to take on the Magic tonight at 6pm CT. Seeing the game might be a challenge -it's not broadcast in New Orleans, and Orlando Pinstriped Post says it's not being televised in Orlando, either. Maybe a radio feed will be the best option, but unless there will be some kind of a television crew that we're not aware of, this could be a highly disappointing night.

In other Pelicans news, Monty says that Gordon's conditioning is coming along well. We'll see if that translates into being ready before the season opener.

Same five projected starters for the Pelicans: Jrue Holiday, Anthony Morrow, Al-Farouq Aminu, Anthony Davis, Greg Stiemsma. I wouldn't be surprised to see somebody other than Stiemsma in there after he's laid an egg in the first two games, but we'll see.

For the Magic, who really knows - this is their first preseason game, so we'll see who they trot out there. Victor Oladipo's preseason debut should be exciting, but the Pelicans have to be favored in this matchup.
