According to Jim Eichenhofer:
Hornets announce that forward Darius Miller has been assigned to the D-League. where he will play for Iowa.
On the season, Miller has averaged a shade over 13 minutes a game but hasn't appeared in 6 of the Hornets last 8 games. Consequently, it seems like a good move to have the rookie continue his development some place he'll be able to garner much needed court time. If Miller reduces his precipitous foul rate and the NBDL brings out some offensive aggressiveness, he could come back and make a larger impact. Thirty games into the season, the shooting forward position is still very much up for grabs.
