New Orleans came up just short in its bid to end a 5 game losing skid, letting a huge third quarter lead evaporate.
Ryan Anderson produced easily his finest game as a Hornet (34 points on 13 for 23 shooting, including 8 for 13 threes, and 11 rebounds). Perhaps, at the very least, this will springboard him to more minutes and more shots, especially with the latest news that Anthony Davis may not play at all on this Western roadtrip.
Greivis Vasquez (25 on 10 of 13 and 14 assists) and Al-Farouq Aminu (16 points on 6 of 7, 6 rebounds, 5 assists) also produced huge, efficient efforts in the losing cause. Ultimately, a lack of production from the bench, and another horrible defensive effort proved too much.
Nico will have the full recap, but in the meanwhile, other thoughts?
