Anthony Davis joined Eric Gordon on the injury list last week with a groin injury tweak, but he looks in line to suit up for the Hornets' next game on Thursday. Via John Reid at the Times-Pic:
For the first time since tweaking his groin last week, New Orleans Hornets rookie forward Anthony Davis went through full-contact work during Monday's practice at the Alario Center.
"He looked pretty good today, but we certainly want to be careful,'' Hornets Coach Monty Williams said.
Gordon's also on the mend, reportedly:
By intensifying his rehabilitation work, Gordon appears to be getting closer toward a possible return after missing the Hornets' first four preseason games and all of training camp.
He spent part of Monday's practice taking shots with his teammates. In last Friday's game against the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center, he sat on the bench in uniform for the first time in the preseason but didn't play.
