Notes

- Atlanta would appear to be a potential destination for Hornets center Chris Kaman with the loss of All-Star Al Horford for the year. (Houston, Indiana, and San Antonio have been reported so far).

As noted on Friday, Kaman can be included in multi-player deals before February 14th, as long as such trades are layered single-player deals, but there would need to be trade exceptions involved. The Hawks' only trade exception is the $1M exception they acquired in the Jamal Crawford deal, clearly not large enough to be a significant offset relative to Kaman's $12M pre-trade kicker salary.

- Marvin Williams has been one of the league's hottest players through one month, shooting a ridiculous 47% from three.

- Atlanta has been a plus defensive side, bolstered by their propensity to avoid fouling; in general they're above average in the four factors of defensive play (allowed effective field goal %, defensive rebounding, fouling, and forcing turnovers) so the Hornets' offense could have its hands full.

- Your opposition perspective for the night is at Peach Tree Hoops.
