Chris Paul was diagnosed with a concussion last night. Given his immediate immobility following the injury, this is likely the best outcome we could have hoped for. But let's also keep in mind that concussions are serious, serious injuries. As SBNation editor Andy Hutchins pointed out to me tonight, Minnesota Twins' first baseman Justin Morneau has been out of action since sustaining a concussion in July of 2010. Concussions can have long lasting effects, and if it takes Chris Paul a month to come back, I'm all for it even if that leads to further losses.
