- The Hornets have launched a campaign to amass 10,000 season ticket holders for the 2011-2012 season. Kermit Ruffins and Drew Brees (among others) will be helping the team with publicity for the campaign.

- At a press conference yesterday, Governor Jindal noted that the state of Louisiana will have to pay the Hornets $7 million for not meeting benchmarks contained in lease agreements. Caleb linked this yesterday, but it's worth mentioning again, especially when the $7 million "fee" is juxtaposed with the current season tickets campaign.

- Emeka Okafor was the last player to leave practice yesterday as he tries to regain the rhythm he'd built up before his injury. It's definitely nice to see this story pop up; if the Hornets are going to make any sort of noise down the stretch, they'll need Okafor to return to his outstanding November-January form.

- Steve Nash is expected to return to the Suns' lineup today to face the Hornets.
