2014 NBA Draft Open Thread

USA TODAY Sports

As of this writing, the Pelicans do not have a horse in the race. Philly owns our 2014 first round pick and Minnesota our second. However, for over the last week, there have been plenty of rumors New Orleans is looking to get back into this draft. Rumors have ranged from Jrue Holiday being moved for a high selection to perhaps Austin Rivers, or a lesser asset, fetching a much lower pick.

Regardless of the outcome, it's sure to be an interesting night, even if we don't happen to receive a present on Xmas day. Feel free to drop a comment about how Demps has zapped the life out of draft day or remark how 'potential' can be vastly overrated.
