Milwaukee Interested in Eric Gordon?

Source

According to that site and a tweet by Gery Woelfel the Bucks may be interested in trading for Eric Gordon at the deadline. Now the question would be what exactly could be achieved by trading Gordon to the great white north? I am not going to really think about the possibility of three team trades because otherwise I would never finish this.

1st Option: Upgrade at Center

New Orleans Receives: Larry Sanders, Caron Butler
Milwaukee Receives: Eric Gordon

In this trade scenario the Pelicans are able to upgrade their center position (if Davis is to be a 4). You send Eric Gordon and you take back the big contract of Sanders who is an athletic 5 with a checkered past. It appears that Milwaukee might be growing less than thrilled with Sanders off the court antics and might be willing to cut loose. Caron Butler is for contract matching purposes and is an 8 million dollar expiring contract and a decent 3 to use for the rest of the season.

2nd Option: Lateral(ish) trade

New Orleans Receives: OJ Mayo, Epke Udoh
Milwaukee Receives: Eric Gordon

This would be taking a 3 year max contract deal and trading it for another 3 year deal for a 2 guard but at 6 million less a year. Epke Udoh is a throw in that expires at the end of the year. Saves the team a few million dollars per year that could be spent elsewhere but leaves you with another long term deal at the 2 spot.

2nd Option:
