The Bird Writes Podcast #7-Pre-Season Wrap Up and AD Love Fest

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sport

We're back!!! David Starcer and David Fisher return for a podcast to wrap up the preseason and preview the team before the season opener against Indiana.

Just in the nick of time before the season tips off, The Bird Writes brings you our first podcast of the 2013-14 season (and the first on the New Orleans Pelicans since the name change became official)! David Starcer and David Fisher dug deep for almost an hour of Pelicans talk for our faithful readers, including but not limited to; AD's spectacular preseason and what else we can look forward to him improving on in year two; the Super Nova that is the Pelicans' "Finishing Five" lineup and how the group performed in their limited preseason run; how we feel about the much overdue insertion of Jason Smith into the starting lineup; the guys' thoughts on the Pelicans' mascot naming poll and much, much more!

Feel free to leave any comments or questions about the podcast below (and sorry in advance for the poor quality at times)! If you have any questions you'd like answered/discussed in future editions of the podcast, just write them in the comment section below or hit us up on Twitter. Hope you enjoy the listen!
