Maybe some friendly advice could be given?

Hello everyone here. I am from Kentucky, birth place of the career of Anthony Davis and Darius Miller (two of the more beloved Kentucky Wildcats in recent memory). My first Pelicans/Hornets game that I have attended was the other night in Lexington when they took the floor against another beloved former Wildcat (John Wall) in preseason action. The game was good, I was thoroughly impressed by the play of Eric Gordon as opposed to what he has looked like previously for the team, but he really did work, especially for a crowd that began the night booing him, Bradley Beal, and Austin Rivers (due to playing college ball at Indiana, Florida, and Duke respectively). Regardless, it was a good game.

Myself, my wife, and a friend have been planning to come down to New Orleans from Halloween to the 3rd of November for awhile to go to a music festival, bought the tickets early, the line-up ended up being mediocre so we sold the tickets and bought tickets to the home game against the Bobcats. This will be my first NBA regular season game (being from Kentucky there is not a lot of options here for pro ball) and I was curious if anyone had any advice for being at a Pelicans home game or anything of that nature. It is not my first time in New Orleans but my first time going to a pro sports event in the city. I also had a question, do they sell merchandise there at the game? They didn't up here but I doubted they would drag all that up for a preseason game (even though there were nearly 15,000 people there). Thanks a lot in advance!
