Anthony Davis Trademarks Unibrow-Related Phrases

1

From the article: Davis, known for his connected eyebrows, trademarked the phrases "Fear The Brow" and "Raise The Brow" earlier this month. "I don’t want anyone to try to grow a unibrow because of me and then try to make money off of it," Davis told CNBC. "Me and my family decided to trademark it because it’s very unique." ******************** I think it might be hard to argue that a unibrow is "unique", though it's probably unusual. Nonetheless, this means that the cottage industry of unibrow-related t-shirt makers that sprung up in Lexington will not be able to be replicated in New Orleans. Or, at the very least, it will have to be more clever and avoid the use of those two phrases.
