Hornets announce Carl Landry will be out 3-4 weeks
From Tom Ziller/SBNation:
Carl Landry, playing for the New Orleans Hornets on a one-year contract, will be out 3-4 weeks with an MCL sprain, the team announced Sunday. (ESPN's Marc Stein had it first.) Landry has been playing his familiar sixth man role for New Orleans, which is a legit challenger for worst team in the league.
Landry would have become a popular name on the trade market, but this injury will keep him out until 1-2 weeks before the March 15 trade deadline. It will also likely open up minutes for Chris Kaman, who the Hornets had benched for a week to pursue trade possibilities.
