Gerry V writes an interesting piece about the difference between the Hornets' two games against the Mavs. In the win, the Hornets took a ton of shots at the rim, and in the loss, the Hornets had to settle for a lot of jumpers.
Reality Check: Via Coolstandings.com, the Hornets are expected to win about 50 games and have an 83% chance of making the playoffs, with a 16% chance of winning the division. There's a lot of season left to go.
